Brian P. Williams

Congratulations to Brian P. Williams, a Co-Managing Partner at Kahn, Dees, Donovan & Kahn, LLP (KDDK), who is being formally elected President of the Central Region of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) at the 2014 BSA National Annual Meeting, which is being held May 22nd and 23rd in Nashville, Tenn.

Brian has made a nearly-lifelong commitment to Scouting. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout; and he and his wife Barbara are proud that both of their sons are also Eagle Scouts. Over the past 30-plus years, Brian has held a variety of volunteer and leadership positions ranging from Cub Master for his sons’ pack to leadership positions at the Council, Area and Region levels. For the past two years, Williams has served as Executive Vice President of the Central Region. As Central Regional President, he will succeed David L. Steward, founder and Chairman of the Board of World Wide Technology, Inc.

“Boy Scouts of America has provided programming to help youth and young adults build character and become responsible citizens in a fun, engaging, outdoor environment for more than 100 years,” said Williams. “It’s an honor to serve for the largest youth-serving organization in the world and be a part of this legacy.”

The BSA is organized into Central, Northeast, Southern, and Western regions. The Central Region covers all or most of the following13 states: North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, and Kansas. He brings a keen understanding of people and organizations to his legal practice. He is an effective advocate for his clients in the court room or at the mediation table, as well as an effective advocate for a new business seeking to locate in the Southwestern Indiana region.
