KDDK attorney, G. Michael Schopmeyer
has served as an AAA select arbitrator for 10 years.
He
was among 18 arbitrators to complete a 2-day advanced
arbitrator training course at the AAA's corporate
headquarters in Phoenix on November 19 and 20, 2002. The
AAA has for over 75 years been dedicated to offering
a
wide range of alternative dispute resolution procedures
including mediation and arbitration. Candidates for
AAA's
Roster of Neutrals are recognized for expertise in their
fields, integrity and dispute resolution skills and
are
screened through an intensive two-tiered process
evaluating management skills, substantive expertise,
commitment, ethics, training and suitability to regional
caseload. Schopmeyer has been instrumental in building
KDDK's ADR practice by working with clients in drafting
custom arbitration provisions and providing cost effective
means to resolving business, commercial and industrial
disputes out of court.
