recently organized a program "Legal Issues in Physician
Practices" for Evansville and surrounding Tri-State health
care providers. KDDK attorney, Robert F. "Ted" Barron was
the keynote speaker at this August 29, 2002 program held
at the Petroleum Club in Evansville, Indiana. At this
program, attended by over 100 area physicians, nurses,
office staff, billing companies and mental health
providers, Ted shared his expertise on topics such as
patient access to information, HIPAA's privacy rules,
special consideration for records of communicable
diseases, responding to subpoenas and court orders and
several other areas of health care law.
