Michael
E. DiRienzo, Greg
J. Freyberger and Jacob
R. Fulcher have been named partners in the Evansville
law firm of Kahn, Dees, Donovan & Kahn, LLP (“KDDK”)
effective January 1, 2010.
DiRienzo is a native of
Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Franciscan University
of Steubenville with a bachelor of arts degree in Philosophy
in 1997 and earned his law degree from the Notre Dame
Law School in 2001. He joined KDDK as an associate upon
his graduation from law school in 2001. His areas of practice
include bankruptcy, collections and creditors’ rights,
business, litigation, construction, environmental, mineral,
real estate and education law. He is admitted to practice
in the State of Indiana, the U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of Indiana, U.S. District Court for
the Northern District of Indiana and the U.S. District
Court for the Southern District of Illinois.
He is a member of the
Evansville Bar Association, and its Board of Directors,
CLE Committee and Commercial Law Section as well as chair
of its Real Estate Section. He is also a member of the
Indiana State Bar Association and its Bankruptcy and Creditors’
Rights Section, the American Bar Association and its Business
Law and Litigation Sections and the National Association
of College and University Attorneys. DiRienzo volunteers
for Youth Resources as a Volunteer Attorney and Judge
for Vanderburgh Teen Court. He also serves as the President
for the Ross Center Neighborhood Association and Cubmaster
of Cub Scout Pack 312 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Freyberger is a native
of Jasper, Indiana and graduated from Indiana State University
with a bachelor of science degree in Criminology in 1998
and earned his law degree from Indiana University School
of Law in 2001. He joined KDDK as an associate upon his
graduation from law school in 2001.
His areas of practice
include litigation and trial services, insurance coverage,
insurance defense, workers compensation and business law.
He is admitted to practice in the State of Indiana, the
U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana
and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District
of Indiana.
He is a member of the Evansville
Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, the
American Bar Association and its Tort, Trial and Insurance
Practice, Litigation and Labor and Employment Law Sections,
the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana and the Brooks American
Inns of Court. Freyberger also serves on the Board of
Directors of Leadership Evansville, as the 2009 Trial
Tactics Chairman for Defense Trail Counsel of Indiana
and Past Chairman of the Evansville Chapter, American
Diabetes Association.
Fulcher is a native of
Bloomington, Indiana and graduated from the University
of Southern Indiana with a bachelor of science degree
in political science in 1999 and earned his law degree
from the California Western School of Law in 2001. He
joined KDDK as an associate upon his graduation from law
school in 2002. Fulcher exclusively represents management
in labor and employment matters. He is admitted to practice
in the State of Indiana, the U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of Indiana and the U.S. Court of Appeals
for the Seventh Circuit. Fulcher was recently elected
to the Board of Directors of the Evansville Human Resources
Association (EHRA).
