“Law Change Could Impact Salaried Employees”

“If you’re an employer looking for a good New Year’s resolution, Evansville attorney Jake Fulcher has a suggestion: Start tracking your salaried employees’ weekly hours.

“The federal government is mulling changes in overtime pay rules that could affect millions of salaried workers who earn less than $50,000 per year.

“The rules aren’t expected to take effect for several months, Fulcher said, but it’s not too early for employers to start preparing.”
