Attorneys John Hegeman,
Allison Comstock and Beth Browning
attended a seminar titled “Triage for the Frail Client
and Medicaid Update.” Presented by the Evansville Bar
Association, the seminar provided information on home
health care options, using home equity to meet current
needs, the public assistance safety net for the elderly,
asset preservation, and the latest Medicaid updates. If
information or assistance is needed in these areas, contact

Partner Brian Williams
traveled to Washington, D.C. on May 25 to present the
Regional Scout Reach Awards to Boy Scout Councils from
13 states in the Midwest. The awards honor Boy Scout Councils
for providing the Scouting program to youth who reside
in hard-to-reach areas across the Midwest. Williams has
served as president, area president and regional vice
president of Boy Scouts of America, Buffalo Trace Council.
Some 70 new Metropolitan Evansville
Chamber of Commerce members were recruited recently during
the Chamber’s 2006 Membership Campaign. KDDK attorneys
Jon Goldman, Mike Schopmeyer
and Monica Edwards took part in the phone
campaign, with Schopmeyer recruiting the greatest number
of new Chamber members.
Jon Goldman, Kristi
Cirignano and Jake Fulcher,
all of whom practice employment litigation law, recently
led a group discussion at a meeting of the Association
of Corporate Counsel of America-Indiana chapter.
Attorney Chris Lee
was awarded the Raymond White Award for Distinguished
Military Service by the Indiana Masonic Lodge for his
service as an Army National Guardsman during tours of
duty in Bosnia and Afghanistan. The award is named after
Indiana Mason Raymond White, who was killed in the early
days of the war on terror.
