Moving Forward
But Hanging On to an Old Friend
Many people know this firm, one way
or another, by K2D2. The nickname has been used as our
web and email address since the earliest days of the
Internet, and most people assume the name plays off of
the little robot in the Star Wars movies. But K2D2 (K-squared,
D-squared) goes back further - at least 40 years or more,
when the phrase was coined not by someone at KDDK, but
by people in Evansville’s legal community. The nickname
stuck.
KDDK recently changed its email and
web site address from k2d2.com to kddk.com. Don’t worry
if you forget; k2d2 emails also will arrive at the firm.
We don’t
expect or want the old nickname to go away. K2D2 has prompted a few chuckles
over the years but even so, we feel it is a name that conjures positive thoughts
and the remembrance of good friends. We hope that never changes.
