Partner John Hegeman was a guest
of Deaconess Hospital’s Resource Center for Healthy Living
recently where he shared information concerning advance
directives, living will declarations and physician-patient
informed consent.
Partner Jeff Helfrich is instructing a Real Estate Brokers
licensing course at Ivy Tech Community College. Helfrich
also teaches Real Estate Salesperson licensing courses
at Ivy Tech, where he has been an instructor since 1989.
His practice areas include real estate, mergers and acquisitions,
commercial finance, business organizations and health
care law.
Partner Brian Williams served on a panel addressing
the “Use and Abuse of Fiduciary Duties: Surrogate Decision
Making” on September 21 as part of The Evansville Bar
Association’s annual “Dialogue Between the Bench and
Bar.”
KDDK joined with other sponsors recently for Gibson
General Health Foundation’s Fifteenth Annual Golf Classic,
this year to benefit patient care at the Princeton hospital.
The firm also supports the local Girls and Boys Club’s
golf tournament each year.
Attorney Jake Fulcher discussed the United States Constitution
with students and faculty at ITT Technical Institute
in Newburgh recently as part of campus activities recognizing
Constitution Day.
Attorney Robin Michelle Evernham, Membership Training
Chairperson for Junior League of Evansville (JLE), is
overseeing a November training symposium for JLE members
that will include speakers Holly Dunn Pendelton, an advocate
for victims of sexual abuse; Kathy Dockery, Administrator
for the Deaconess Breast Center; and Karen Donovan Magan,
founder of Evansville’s original Hands On Discovery Museum.
