Government, Schools and Municipal Law

Kahn, Dees, Donovan & Kahn has been representing state and local governmental units, including boards (such as school boards), public utilities and other political subdivisions—and representing clients in front
of units of government—throughout our more than 105-year history.

In addition to serving as legal counsel for various governmental units, many KDDK attorneys enjoy an extensive history of serving on municipal boards, or as assistant government attorneys, as prosecutors, and as clerk to the State Board of Accounts.

Municipal Law

KDDK attorneys advise and represent clients in municipal government matters such as eminent domain, property leasing, retail development, commercial office buildings, economic development, land use, taxation, sales and acquisitions, construction contracting, and environmental law.

A number of KDDK attorneys currently serve as officers for the Evansville Industrial Foundation and the Chamber of Commerce of Southwestern Indiana — or have worked closely with their members.

At any given time, it is likely that more than one KDDK attorney is engaged in representing a city or county entity in the Southwest Indiana region.
